Making the decision to seek treatment for addiction is a big step. Finding the right program to meet your needs and help you feel more confident in recovery is important. Some clients thrive in a structured, intensive day treatment program that focuses on essential skills and therapies necessary for recovery but provides more flexibility and independence during the evening. Clients can find this level of care at CareForward Health. Our day treatment program is located in Beverly Hills, California, a vibrant city buzzing with life and inspiration. Our clients can embrace the energy of the city as they solidify their recovery and begin implementing what they have learned in addiction treatment. Clients return to their sober living residences through our network of safe, sober living partners each evening after treatment programming and activities are completed.
What is Day Treatment (PHP) Treatment?
Our day treatment program is also called our Partial Hospitalization Program or PHP. This rehab treatment program is an intensive level of outpatient care in a highly structured and supportive environment. Clients attend addiction treatment during the day and stay in approved sober living facilities in the evening. CareForward Health works with individuals to determine if this is the proper level of care for their current situation.
PHP treatment encourages increased accountability and independence as clients meet clinical milestones in addiction recovery. Treatment lasts for a minimum of 30 days at CareForward Health and helps clients navigate the early challenges of recovery and reduce risk of relapse through strengthening coping skills and working through the challenges of temptation, triggers, trauma, stress, and other obstacles. Individual progress is monitored to determine the right time for transitioning to intensive outpatient treatment or an aftercare monitoring program.
“Helped save my life, thank you for all you have taught me & helped me with even after coming home & being checked up on! Love everyone there.”- Brad P.
Why Choose CareForward Health’s Day Treatment Program?
At CareForward Health, Day Treatment groups meet throughout the day, and clients are provided with a nutritious, chef-prepared meal for lunch to ensure they are eating a well-balanced diet to support recovery. Treatment services combine individual therapy sessions, group therapy, specialized therapy groups, family therapy, and a variety of enriching experiential opportunities. In the evening, clients return to an approved sober living home that is staffed by licensed treatment professionals but fosters independence and healthy routines to prepare clients to return home following completion of treatment.
The Day Treatment Program at CareForward Health is tailored to the changing needs of each client. Groups address a wide range of topics including self-care, vocational skills, grief and loss counseling, codependency, and understanding triggers. Individuals can explore the role of faith in their recovery through incorporating religious preferences into their treatment as part of a mind, body, and spiritual healing. There are opportunities to explore local museums, exhibits, and landmarks throughout the Los Angeles area to connect with creative outlets and discover new interests. Our clients cultivate the skills necessary to support long-term recovery through abstinence-based methods rooted in the principles of the 12 steps. In addition, clients participate in random drug tests and breathalyzers to ensure accountability and identify warning signs of potential relapse.
We partner with top-rated sober living homes that allow our clients to enjoy healthy meals and positive social interaction in a safe, comfortable environment. Clients take evening trips to run errands and engage in community activities together including support group meetings. Supervisory staff is on-site at all times should clients need professional support or guidance in navigating their recovery between treatment sessions.
The recovery journey isn’t one that is traveled alone, and clients can rest assured that they will always have support from staff and other individuals in the day treatment program. The bonds formed with clients, staff, and the clinical team create a close-knit, family-like support system which boosts self-esteem, confidence, and motivation.
